| The Croatian government has changed the regulations about scuba diving in Croatia in January 2003 Until 2003 diving was allowed in Croatia if you were in the possession of a Croatian diving license (costs 100 Kuna). Except in protected area’s you could dive independently anywhere in Croatia with this license. To prevent illegal diving by unregistered dive centre and to diminish the amount of accidents the law changed in January 2003 . People who want to dive with a Croatian diving license of 100 Kuna can only dive under the direct supervision of a registered Croatian diving centre. If you want to dive independent you have to obtain a Croatian diving license of 100 Kuna and a license for independent diving for 2500 Kuna (335 euro). This licence can be purchased in the office of the harbour master If you have any further questions you can send us an email |
