| Misi The top of this unmarked reef has a depth of only 0,80 metres. No need to say that it is very dangerous for all boats especially because the reef is in the middle of the canal between Pasman and Zut. When we ascend we immediately see one of the victims of the the reef because already at a depth of 7 meters we find the first remains of a German cargo boat carying ammunition boat and caol. It struck the reef and exploded in 1943. Remains of the ship called "Boran's wreck" are found on 12, 22 38 and 42 meters. The remains of the wreck shelter octopus and many scorpion fish. On the north-west side of the reef at 19 meters we find a old shark cage which has been used by Hans Hass in the 60ties to film blue sharks. It is pity that we do not find these sharks any more between the islands due to heavy fishing and traffic. Near the shark cage there is a nice wall with conger eels and many nudi branches. There is always a slight current around this reef so we find lots and lots of fish. On the south side between 35 and 50 metres we find a small reef with lots of blue Gorgonias. Lovely and very interesting dive site. | ![]()
